Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy in Warrendale, PA onsite is seeking a Quality Assurance Staff Pharmacist responsible for final pharmacist verification, quality assurance, and adherence to regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support training, and help maintain operational excellence while ensuring accurate medication fulfillment and compliance. On-site with a 7-week rotating 4x10 hour schedule, including periodic on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE accreditation with a B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of the role.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of pharmacist experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or related setting.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy, fulfillment, mail-order, or QA environments.
• Experience performing prescription verification in a high-volume setting.
• Experience training or mentoring pharmacy team members.
• Demonstrated success in process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Job description

This position is located onsite at our Warrendale, PA location.

This position has a 7-week rotating schedule of (4) 10- hour shifts Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 8:00 pm including a 1-week On Call rotation approximately 4-5 times per year.

• Experience in specialty pharmacy, fulfillment pharmacy, mail-order pharmacy, central fill operations, or quality assurance environments.
• Experience performing prescription verification in a high-volume pharmacy setting.
• Experience training, mentoring, or supporting the development of pharmacy team members.
• Demonstrated success contributing to process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
