Beacon AI is seeking a Staff Frontend Software Engineer to lead the frontend of our aviation data platform. You will own high‑impact React-based web interfaces, work with live and historical data, and shape the user experience for safety and operational insights.

The role requires 9+ years in frontend development, strong React/TypeScript/JS skills, and a track record of autonomous delivery. This is a hybrid position based in San Carlos, CA with onsite and remote days.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience building and shipping high‑performance web apps.
• Deep React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern web standards expertise.
• Ownership of complex frontend features with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement React‑based features for aerospace data platform.
• Integrate, process, and visualize data from multiple sources and streams.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices through reviews and architecture talks.
• Collaborate with backend, product, and UX/UI to shape solutions.
• Ensure reliability with testing, docs, and engineering standards.
• Build reusable components and internal libraries.
