Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. seeks a Staff Frontend Engineer for the FortiWeb team to lead the modernisation of our web-based management interface.

You will drive migrations to Angular 21+ and React 18, design micro-frontends, and implement scalable state management across enterprise interfaces. You will collaborate with backend, UX/UI, and DevOps to ensure robust API contracts, design system adoption, and optimized CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Angular (v14+) / React and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale application modernization projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration from legacy frameworks to modern Angular 21+ and React 18+.
• Design and implement micro-frontend architecture for multiple sub-applications.
• Build scalable state management using RxJS and MobX/Redux.
• Establish frontend best practices and architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with backend teams to define API contracts and integration patterns.
• Work with UX/UI teams to implement enterprise design systems.
• Partner with DevOps to optimize CI/CD pipelines and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and guidance.
