Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for the FortiWeb team. You will develop and maintain the web-based management interface of our WAF solution, leveraging Angular/React and TypeScript while migrating legacy enterprise apps.

You will lead modernization efforts, design micro-frontends, and collaborate with backend and UX/UI teams to implement enterprise patterns, RBAC, and secure, scalable frontends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years frontend development experience.
• 5+ years with Angular (v14+) / React and TypeScript.
• Proven track record leading large modernization projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration from legacy frameworks to Angular 21+ and React 18+.
• Design and implement micro-frontend architecture for sub-apps.
• Build scalable state management with RxJS and MobX/Redux.
• Define API contracts and collaborate with backend teams.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and guidance.
