Intuit Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer on the MailChimp Identity team in San Diego to lead the development of the next-gen Identity system, enabling the company-wide strategy across MailChimp and QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience designing, developing, maintaining, and innovating enterprise level cloud-native applications or platforms, frontend focus.
• Strong leadership experience: leading meetings, presenting, cross-functional leader.
• Experience with frontend technologies and modern backend languages.
• Proficient in REST and GraphQL API design.
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM, or XP.
• Experience with microservices architecture and API designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the KE frontend efforts including hosted authoring environment, admin UIs, and runtime UI generations.
• Architect and develop software prototypes or POC’s.
• Gather requirements, write technical specs, and plan testing.
• Mentor engineers and lead a small team on challenging problems.
• Create technical docs and presentations to communicate architecture.
• Fix defects across QA, pre-prod, prod, and post-release patches.
• Collaborate with product, QA/QE, and business units to drive results.
• Demonstrate passion for well-architected frontend/backend software.
• Advocate Agile methods and DevOps practices.
