Qualifications

• 10+ years of frontend software development experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript production SaaS pedigree.
• Experience shipping modular, scalable frontend architectures.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and guide technical direction.
• Experience with AI/LLM-powered interfaces in production.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture governance within the broader technical direction set by the Staff Software Architect, escalating cross‑cutting decisions when needed.
• Write production-grade frontend code as an individual contributor.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
• Define frontend standards for component architecture, state management, performance, testing, accessibility.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering teammates to turn requirements into polished user experiences that are intuitive, reliable, and scalable.
• Balance ongoing contributions to the current platform with frontend development for the next‑generation platform.
• Design and ship AI‑capable frontend experiences, including chat interfaces, streaming responses, or intelligent workflows.
• Identify and resolve performance, accessibility, and reliability issues across the frontend stack.
• Contribute to design reviews and technical planning so frontend decisions stay aligned with broader platform architecture and business goals.
• Help shape best practices for deployment, observability, and release quality as they relate to frontend systems.
• Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve speed and quality while applying sound engineering judgment and maintaining a high bar for user experience.
