X is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to define the architectural vision for visualizing the future of the electric grid. You will lead the web platform roadmap, bridging complex power-system AI with intuitive, high-performance UIs for global leaders to make trillion-dollar decisions.

Lead enterprise frontend architecture, set best practices for state management, testing, and component-driven development while mentoring peers and advancing human-in-the-loop AI interfaces.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in frontend or fullstack engineering with leadership in complex platforms.
• Experience building enterprise apps using LLMs, agentic or predictive ML models.
• Knowledge of modern interaction patterns and generative interfaces in real-time.
• Mastery of TypeScript and frameworks (React/Angular) and service orchestration.
• Ability to design for Human-in-the-loop with AI-augmented workflows.
• Distilling complex problems into intuitive end-user experiences.
• Experience with high-scale frontend architectures and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of a highly performant enterprise frontend architecture.
• Establish engineering excellence with state management, testing, and component-driven development.
• Define next-gen Human-AI interaction for energy sector interfaces.
• Translate AI outputs into streamlined, AI-assisted experiences for users.
• Influence multi-year product roadmap and identify technical risks & opportunities.
• Optimize the rendering path for high-stakes environments using WebGL or Canvas.
• Mentor the engineering org and promote rigorous craftsmanship.
