Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned front-end engineer to design and build scalable user interfaces in a fast-growing startup. You will collaborate with product, design and backend teams to deliver high-quality web applications, implement design systems, and mentor juniors while advancing performance and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of front-end development experience.
Strong track record of shipping high-quality web applications.
Deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, including React, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Recoil, Vuex, or MobX.
Familiarity with server-side rendering and static site generation, including Next.js or Nuxt.js.
Strong understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility (a11y), and security best practices.
Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows, and front-end testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
Experience working in early-stage startups or high-growth environments.
