Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/related field.
• 8+ years in front-end software eng, including JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
• Experience leading front-end initiatives with complex architecture and cross-team coordination.
• Experience building scalable, performant, accessible UI systems for large user bases.
• Experience using data/telemetry to drive frontend decisions.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of compiler passes and JS transformations.
• Build and enhance developer tooling infrastructure (linters, test runners, analysis tools).
• Integrate AI-powered capabilities into developer workflows.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of major JS tooling initiatives.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in build systems and execution.
• Establish best practices for JavaScript tooling (AST, static analysis, incremental compilation).
• Mentor engineers on tooling architecture and AI-enabled development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical decisions and roadmap priorities.
• Address technical debt and migrations to modern standards.
