Job summary

Motional is seeking a Staff Front End Engineer to join the Web Visualization Tooling team. You will contribute to critical web tooling for ML engineers and AV systems, influencing frontend standards across multiple teams, and delivering high-quality UI experiences.

You will work with React, TypeScript, and Vue to build scalable frontend systems, collaborating with ML, data services, and UX teams to optimize workflows and performance. Hybrid or remote options apply.

Qualifications

• Desire to design and build user-facing visual applications with strong UX sensibilities.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture; Vue experience a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously, own initiatives, and mentor other engineers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-team frontend standards and best practices.
• Own collaboration across teams to ensure timely, effective deliveries.
• Architect and scale a modern frontend ecosystem using React, TypeScript, and Vue.
• Collaborate with ML, data, UX, and engineering teams to align tooling with workflows.
• Build critical UI systems used by internal customers and external teams.
