Job summary

NomadicML is seeking a Frontend Engineer to move extremely fast and turn ambitious designs into polished, production-ready interfaces.

This role sits at the intersection of design, product, and engineering. You’ll work with our founding designer and backend/ML teams to ship new product surfaces, workflows, and interactions at startup speed, ensuring everything looks right and works flawlessly.

Qualifications

• A strong frontend portfolio showcasing real, shipped work (product UIs, dashboards, complex web apps).
• Deep experience with React and modern frontend frameworks (Next.js preferred).
• Strong command of TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

Responsibilities

• Implement high-fidelity product and marketing designs from Figma into responsive, accessible, and performant web experiences.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to prototype, iterate, and ship frontend features quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Build and own major parts of NomadicML’s web application, including dashboards for video review, search, edge-case exploration, and customer workflows.
• Design-Engineering Collaboration: work with the founding designer to refine interactions and visuals.
• Quality & Reliability: ensure frontend is robust, intuitive, and bug-free with emphasis on polish and performance.
• Iteration & Experimentation: rapidly test UI ideas, discard what doesn’t work, double down on what does.
• Frontend Architecture: help shape the frontend stack and best practices for scalability.
