Job summary

ChargePoint is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Fleet Software to own the software product strategy and roadmap for our fleet vertical in North America and Europe — from maintaining existing solutions like ViriCiti to defining new platforms for truck and autonomous vehicle fleets.

This individual contributor role partners with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to ship software that fleet operators love, translating customer needs into clear requirements and success metrics.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product management experience in software products.
• Experience with fleet operators, commercial fleets, or logistics preferred.
• Strong technical fluency and ability to discuss architecture and APIs with engineers.
• Customer-obsessed and data-driven with evidence-based decision making.
• Based in North America and able to work with North American and European teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for ChargePoint's fleet software platforms.
• Drive evolution of existing platforms and identify gaps to improve CX for fleet operators.
• Define and build new software products for emerging fleet segments (truck charging, autonomous fleets).
• Translate customer needs, market trends, and business priorities into clear requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, and data science to align on market opportunities and drive adoption.
• Engage directly with fleet customers to understand workflows and voice of the customer in product decisions.
• Communicate vision, progress, and trade-offs to stakeholders from engineering to leadership.
