Job summary

Enphase Energy is hiring a Staff Firmware Engineer in Austin, TX to design, implement, and ship real-time embedded firmware for next-generation products. You will work on system-level firmware across multi-core platforms, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure robust performance and reliability.

You will lead end-to-end testing, including unit tests, HIL, and production validation, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in embedded firmware engineering.
• Expert in real-time firmware for multi-core systems.
• Strong C++ 11/14/17 with systems design.
• Experience with HIL tests and validation.
• Experience with CAN, Ethernet, Modbus .

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and ship firmware features in Modern C++.
• Integrate system-level firmware across embedded platforms.
• Lead end-to-end testing incl. HIL and simulations.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize performance.
