Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Staff BI Analyst for Finance to lead development and deployment of systems and analytics measuring financial metrics. You will scope, build, and improve COGS and related finance processes while working with cross-functional teams on data solutions.

The role emphasizes independence, initiative, and integrity in a fast-moving environment, reporting to the Director of Data within a growing, tech-driven company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or Economics.
• 6+ years of data analytics, cost modeling, and finance experience.
• Deep understanding of cost accounting and COA/GL linkage.
• Experience with overhead allocation methods and burden rate calculations.
• Experience with BOMs, routing, and manufacturing cost data.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; ERP data experience.

• Scope, deliver, and maintain analyses for financial metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on solution architecture.
• Improve data collection for deeper cost insights.
• Lead cross-functional reviews to align milestones.
• Stay current with data analytics and COGS trends.
