Job summary

A leading technology firm located in Foster City, CA is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Enterprise Platform team. This full-time position involves designing and implementing deployment infrastructure and networking capabilities that meet enterprise security needs. The ideal candidate should have over 7 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, strong programming skills in Go, Typescript, or Python, and be familiar with Kubernetes and cloud networking. This role offers a competitive salary range of $240K to $350K and a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Typescript, or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, VPCs, and private connectivity.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization systems.
• Strong debugging skills across distributed systems.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement single-tenant and dedicated deployment options.
• Build VPC peering, private connectivity, and static IP configurations.
• Create authorization infrastructure for custom enterprise policies.
• Implement customer-managed encryption and data protection features.
• Write Terraform modules for enterprise deployments.
• Debug and harden systems across various infrastructure aspects.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success for customer solutions.
• Define SLAs/SLOs for enterprise infrastructure reliability.
