Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Senior Controls Engineer in Fort Worth, TX to own sustaining engineering for product control systems, lead root-cause analyses, and develop software updates for controls while guiding technicians and collaborating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of controls engineering experience in a product/manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience with control systems, embedded logic, sensors and actuators.
• Bachelor's degree in EE/Controls related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Owns sustaining engineering for product control systems, logic and embedded configurations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Systems Engineering
• 7+ years of controls engineering experience in a product or manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience with control systems, embedded logic, sensors and actuators.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC/refrigeration controls experience (chillers, rooftops, compressors).
• Experience with communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, CAN).
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control specifications.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, design validation and change control.
• Working knowledge of product safety and agency standards (UL, CSA or equivalent).
• Proven ability to resolve complex technical problems with limited supervision.

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.

Other Compensation

Thisposition is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
