Job summary

Sage Products, a Sage portfolio business unit of Stryker, is seeking a Staff Engineer for New Product Development. You will design and develop medical devices from concept to launch, collaborating with R&D to ensure safe and efficient development.

This hybrid role in Cary will involve translating needs into designs, prototyping, testing, and documenting design history files while mentoring others in design control practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical or Biomedical required.
• Minimum four years of engineering experience.
• Experience designing mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency in creating engineering drawings and models using GD&T and CAE tools.

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

We are hiring a Staff Engineer to join our New Product Development team within the R&D department at Sage Products, a business unit within Stryker. This role will involve the design and development of new medical devices that support the mission of Sage – creating simple interventions with extraordinary outcomes. The individual will be involved throughout the entire product development cycle from concept to launch, working closely with other disciplines within R&D to ensure products are developed effectively, safely and efficiently.

This a hybrid based role in Cary, IL.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in creating engineering drawings and models using GD&T and CAE tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAD tools, preferably Creo.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with risk management and quality systems in a regulated environment.

United States of America Pay Ranges:

• US10 : $98,200 - $163,700 USD Annual.

Travel Percentage: 10%
