Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

About The Team

Anduril's Manufacturing Technology, Maritime Team is building the next generation of advanced AI-driven factories to manufacture large-scale autonomous maritime systems at unprecedented speed and scale. The Maritime Manufacturing Technology Team is responsible for rapidly developing and implementing manufacturing technologies and processes for cutting-edge defense hardware, including deployable static and moving surface, undersea and sea to air vehicles, and scaling these products in our new manufacturing facilities. Our industrialization approach combines advanced manufacturing methods, digital integration, and adaptive planning to compress development timelines while de-risking production decisions.

About The Job

Anduril is standing up cutting edge maritime production. You will own the schedule that runs it: one integrated schedule instead of twenty spreadsheets, and the daily call on what the floor builds next. You will be responsible for the overall standup and management of the production process schedule for a state of the art manufacturing facility. This role owns the integrated master schedule (IMS) and drives rate readiness through rigorous planning, analysis, and cross-functional coordination.

What You’ll Do
  • The integrated master plan and integrated master schedule for module production, horizontally and vertically integrated across engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Critical path and network logic: find the conflicts, resolve them, and tell the program what just moved and why.
  • Shop load and dispatch — what gets worked today, against real material availability, qualified labor, and open nonconformances.
  • Schedule adherence and earned value: measure plan against actual, then feed the variance back into the plan.
  • Re-baselining when the program changes, with the risk analysis to support it.
  • Working the floor. This is a Gemba job, not a spreadsheet job — you will be at 3100 Harbor with the welders, machinists, and planners.
  • Standing up the production control function: the cadence, the artifacts, the metrics, and the interface to supply chain and quality.
  • The scheduling data model our dynamic scheduling system (LOKI) consumes — you define what “a step” means here.
  • Mentoring planners and schedulers as the team grows.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years in production planning, production control, or master scheduling in shipbuilding, aerospace, or heavy manufacturing.
  • Program-level planning experience: demonstrated ability to build and manage integrated schedules for complex manufacturing or defense programs.
  • You have built and maintained a real integrated schedule against a real build and held the critical path when material and labor both moved.
  • Familiarity with controlled production environments (defense, aerospace, automotive, or similar).
  • Fluency with a scheduling toolset (P6, MS Project, Open Plan, Aurora) and with an ERP/MES (Forge, Odoo, SAP, Solumina, Oracle).
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • No degree required. Apprenticeship, Navy Nuclear Power School, military experience, or a trade path to planning all count.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Submarine or surface-ship construction: stage of construction, work control, outfitting, planning value stream.
  • Critical chain / theory of constraints, buffer management.
  • Earned value management.
  • Experience standing up a new production line or factory from greenfield.
  • Background in defense manufacturing (torpedoes, missiles, submarines, aircraft).
  • Digital native: comfortable with modern tools, automation, and data-driven approaches.
  • PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent scheduling certification.
