Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Data Loop engineer to own data pipelines for the Perception System, driving data-driven improvements and the delivery of new autonomy features. You will work closely with labeling and curation teams to ensure diverse, high-quality data and collaborate with ML infrastructure to scale data operations.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and advance onboard performance, contributing to Rivian's mission and product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development and data analysis is required.
• Experience in robotics, perception or autonomy is strongly preferred.
• Ability to solve problems and coordinate across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own data pipelines for data-driven improvements to the Perception models.
• Build tooling and processes to improve data distributions and coverage.
• Collaborate with labeling/curation teams to drive data diversity and quality.
• Work with ML Infrastructure to scale data operations and pipelines.
• Coordinate with perception, systems engineering and data teams on performance goals.
