With 10+ years in software engineering and 5+ years in leadership, you’ll mentor engineers, set engineering standards, and help Stripe scale across a global merchant base.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in a strategic technical leadership role.
• Experience leading engineering teams on distributed systems, API design, and user-facing products.
• Proven ability to drive high-impact technical decisions across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy for multiple experiences across the Payment Intelligence portfolio, focusing on quality and performance.
• Champion a quality-first engineering culture with standards, tooling, and processes for scalable high-quality code.
• Partner with Stripe’s largest merchants to co-build the future of payment-centric intelligence.
• Collaborate with product, design, and ML colleagues to ship the best software possible.
• Work across the stack including infrastructure, FE, API, and ML-adjacent work.
