Qualifications

• 7+ years of software/production engineering experience.
• 5+ years supporting IBM Sterling OMS in production environments.
• 5+ years Sterling OMS lifecycle experience (order lifecycle, inventory, scheduling, fulfillment, shipments, cancellations, APIs).
• 3+ years with Splunk, SQL, Linux, REST APIs, JSON, and enterprise integration technologies.
• 5+ years resolving complex production issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Willing to work on on‑call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior SME for IBM Sterling OMS production environments and mission-critical business processes.
• Lead troubleshooting of order lifecycle, inventory, scheduling, fulfillment, shipments, cancellations, and integrations.
• Drive production stability through proactive monitoring, RCA, performance optimization, and operational improvements.
• Develop automation solutions to reduce manual support activities and accelerate issue detection and recovery.
• Partner with application development, architecture, platform engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to support modernization efforts.
• Improve observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness across OMS platforms.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in reliability engineering and incident management.
