GoFundMe is hiring a Staff Software Engineer, Integrations Platform in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will define the technical roadmap, design core integration components, and mentor engineers on best practices while influencing architecture and performance. In-office 3x weekly, collaboration across product and infra.

Strong backend/API focus and experience with Salesforce integrations preferred. You will lead initiatives across Public/Private APIs, webhooks, and iPaaS tooling, leveraging AWS

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with backend and systems integration.
• Proven experience designing robust APIs and scalable architectures.
• Strong AWS experience and IaC with Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical roadmap for the Integrations platform.
• Lead design and implementation of core integration components and automation workflows.
• Be a hands-on expert in software design, architecture, and best practices.
• Guide the team’s use of AWS services to power scalable workflows.
• Evaluate and integrate with third-party platforms like Salesforce, Workato, and Zapier.
• Champion AI-assisted development tools to boost quality and efficiency.
• Mentor engineers through reviews, pairing, and coaching.
