Job summary

Perplexity is seeking an experienced engineer for the Integrations team to define the technical direction and build full-stack AI-powered systems that connect Perplexity to user data and workflows across multiple verticals.

You will own outcomes end-to-end, mentor engineers, and ship high-quality products at scale, including AI-powered experiences like Personal CFO and Email Assistant, while collaborating across AI, Design, Data Science, and Infra teams.

Qualifications

6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Demonstrated technical leadership with large projects and clear outcomes.
Strong execution and ability to ship multiple products in parallel.
Good product judgment translating user needs to technical solutions.
Owns outcomes end-to-end with an ownership mindset.
Mentors engineers and raises the team's technical bar.
Genuine interest in AI products and quick learning ability.

Responsibilities

Build agentic apps, features, and workflows for daily user engagement.
Lead vertical-specific products and AI-powered experiences.
Own the data backbone of pipelines and connectors with high reliability.
Drive end-to-end projects across the full stack and run parallel experiments.
Set technical direction and collaborate with AI, Design, Data Science, and Infra.
