Job summary

URBN is seeking a Staff Engineer (GenAI) to build and operationalize image and video generation systems across our digital ecosystem. You will own multi-model generative pipelines, turning research into reliable services and collaborating with data scientists, designers, PMs, and partners.

You’ll design agentic workflows, ML architecture, and scalable microservices while ensuring cost, latency, and throughput are optimized for real products in fashion and retail contexts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with generative AI systems and production pipelines.
• Experience designing agentic workflows and AI orchestration.
• Strong Python skills with model serving and inference tooling.
• Background in RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize image/video generation pipelines for production use.
• Develop agentic workflows and orchestration to scale AI capabilities.
• Build prompt management and quality gates with data science partners.
• Integrate multimodal models into production workflows for tagging and captioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate brand needs into AI solutions.
• Maintain ML architecture for training and inference in production.
