Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Staff Engineer to design and build the next generation of user experiences across its product suite. You will lead by example, mentor engineers, and own end-to-end systems including on-call responsibilities.

You will collaborate with multiple product teams, influence technical direction, and shape the experience platform to be scalable, observable, and highly reliable for a sophisticated user base.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in mathematics, statistics, data science, or related field, or graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years building large-scale products with sophisticated audiences.
• Experience in interfaces and platforms for consumer-grade enterprise apps.
• Technical leadership: setting direction and writing specs.

Responsibilities

• Build and design next generation user experiences across the LaunchDarkly suite.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide tooling and platform for UX work.
• Mentor engineers and raise the team's bar for rigor and system design.
• Own operational excellence for the experience platform including monitoring and on-call.
