Job summary

Rehlko in Kohler, Wisconsin, seeks a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. You will develop, test, and optimize PCB solutions, working with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver high‑functioning electrical systems for residential and commercial power products.

• Lead hardware development from concept validation to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead parts of new product development from concept validation through design for manufacturing.
• Contribute to sustaining efforts for existing product line.
• Define electrical hardware requirements, specifications and architecture.
• Define and conduct hardware validation test plans for reliability and performance.
• Contribute to product safety, EMC and environmental compliance efforts.
• Document electrical system design, architecture, and implementation details.
• Use standard electronics lab tools to analyze, debug and verify circuits.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team focused on developing, testing and optimizing printed circuit board (PCB) solutions. This role involves working closely with other hardware engineers, software engineers, and product teams to deliver high‑functioning electrical solutions for residential and power products. This role follows a hybrid schedule, with 2–3 days per week onsite in Kohler, Wisconsin.

Specific Responsibilities

• Lead parts of new product development from concept validation through design for manufacturing of analog, digital, RF and mixed‑signal electronic circuit designs for residential power systems.
• Contribute to sustaining efforts for existing product line.
• Collaborate with teams to define electrical hardware requirements, specifications and architecture.
• Define and conduct hardware functional, environmental, and lifecycle validation test plans to ensure reliability and performance.
• Contribute to product safety, EMC, and environmental compliance efforts.
• Participate in electrical hardware reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of product and development processes.
• Support hardware troubleshooting during product development and testing.
• Document electrical system design, architecture, and implementation details.
• Use standard electronics laboratory tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and DMM to analyze, debug and document proper operation of electronic circuits and systems.
• Occasional development of custom electrical equipment for specialized features or functions.
• Collaborate in developing electrical hardware for new products and improve existing designs.
