Job summary

Rehlko in Kohler, Wisconsin is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team focused on developing, testing and optimizing printed circuit board (PCB) solutions for residential power systems.

The role involves collaboration with hardware and software engineers, and product teams. The position follows a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days onsite in Kohler, WI, offering opportunities for growth and hands-on design experience in energy-resilient solutions.

Qualifications

  • Lead parts of new product development from concept to design for manufacturing of analog, digital, RF and mixed-signal electronic circuit designs for residential power systems.
  • Contribute to sustaining efforts for existing product line.
  • Define electrical hardware requirements, specifications and architecture.
  • Define and conduct hardware functional, environmental, and lifecycle validation test plans to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to product safety, EMC, and environmental compliance efforts.
  • Participate in electrical hardware reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of product and development processes.
  • Support hardware troubleshooting during product development and testing.
  • Document electrical system design, architecture, and implementation details.
  • Use standard electronics laboratory tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMM to analyze, debug and document proper operation of electronic circuits and systems.
  • Occasional development of custom electrical equipment for specialized features or functions.
