Job summary

Caesars Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer to act as a technical authority across multiple teams, shaping architecture for our digital experiences powering Caesars.com and Caesars Rewards.

The role emphasizes cross-team leadership, hands-on coding, and strategic planning to deliver scalable, secure systems for guests at home, at resorts, or on the go. You will mentor engineers and guide technology choices in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
2+ years at a senior level with cross-team architectural impact.
Experience delivering enterprise-scale systems with modern frameworks and DevOps practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equal industry experience.
Advanced degree preferred and relevant certifications desirable.
Experience delivering high-quality digital products across web and mobile.
Experience in customer-facing industries (e-commerce, hospitality, entertainment, retail) preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-team architectural strategy across multiple teams and establish patterns adopted department-wide.
Resolve the most complex technical challenges, including redesigns and distributed systems optimization.
Translate strategic objectives into multi-quarter technical roadmaps with business justification.
Contribute hands-on coding on critical infrastructure and architectural implementations.
Evaluate and pilot new technologies and patterns, with practical recommendations.
Set and improve engineering quality standards, testing, observability, and security practices.
Mentor senior engineers and contribute to technical growth through reviews and knowledge sharing.
