Who You Are:
You are a backend engineer with 6+ years of experience in building and scaling systems, capable of occasionally working on frontend tasks. We value quality over quantity and seek someone comfortable taking ownership from conception to launch, with a proven track record of delivering reliable, high-quality products. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are adaptable, and proactive in addressing business or product challenges.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Go and other modern technologies.
2. Build end-to-end features across the stack.
3. Own the full lifecycle of features, from design to deployment and monitoring.
4. Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and security.
5. Engage with customers for feedback and incorporate insights into technical solutions.
6. Participate in technical discussions, offering insights and solutions to complex problems.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven track record of building high-quality products.
• Proficiency in Go or similar server-side languages.
• Familiarity with React and related frameworks.
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable architecture.
• Strong database and data management skills.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Located and authorized to work in the US; remote work is supported.

Preferred:

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in testing (unit/integration).
• Startup experience is a plus.

Bonus:

• Side projects demonstrating technical skills.
