Job summary

Teradata Corporation (SE) seeks a Principal Engineer to lead innovation in agentic AI at the Teradata AI Studio platform. You’ll architect production-grade AI agents, implement secure, scalable frameworks, and guide multi‑agent coordination in enterprise environments.

Collaborate with researchers and platform teams to deliver observable, trustworthy AI systems, with memory management, task orchestration, and safe execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software architecture, backend systems, or AI infrastructure.
• Experience designing and deploying intelligent agents at scale with security in mind.
• Proficiency with cloud-native platforms and distributed systems for enterprise use.
• Experience building SDKs or APIs exposing agentic capabilities to developers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure, scalable frameworks for autonomous AI agents.
• Define the technical roadmap for agent management—from discovery to orchestration.
• Ensure agent safety, observability, and governance in production systems.
• Collaborate with researchers, platform engineers, and product managers to advance agent capabilities.
• Build infrastructure for multi-agent collaboration, memory and context management.
