Job summary

Samsung Semiconductor is seeking a Staff Storage Business Enabling Engineer to drive SSD business growth within the NeoCloud and Software-Defined Storage sectors. This role bridges SSD R&D, product marketing, and customer engagements to define requirements and accelerate design‑in wins for long‑term revenue growth.

The position requires deep SSD/NAND expertise, strong cross‑functional leadership, and experience with hyperscalers and server OEMs.

Qualifications

10+ years in SSD, NAND, storage systems or related semiconductors.
5+ years in SSD/NAND or storage industries.
Strong knowledge of NVMe SSDs, NAND Flash, PCIe and data center storage architectures.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain technical relationships with NeoCloud, storage software, and AI infrastructure customers.
Identify AI/ML storage use cases and translate pain points into SSD opportunities.
Define SSD requirements including capacity, performance, endurance, latency, power, form factor, PCIe generation and NAND type.
Lead PoCs, evaluations, and design-in activities from exploration to production.
Bridge customer requirements with SSD R&D, Product Marketing, Sales, and Application Engineering.
