Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Staff Engineer in McLean, VA to lead strategy and execution for next‑gen CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and AI‑augmented development tooling. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Architect long-term enterprise roadmap for DevOps, intent-driven cloud infra and CI/CD frameworks.
Evaluate and deploy AI-assisted software development tools and secure tooling.
Influence executives with ROI and risk frameworks to secure funding and alignment across orgs.
Design govern multi-tenant core-skills repositories and enterprise marketplaces with strong security.
Oversee scalable, secure microservices in regulated environments.
Mentor senior engineers and foster an inclusive engineering culture.
