Job summary

A2Z Sync in Denver, CO is hiring a hands‑on Senior Engineer to build and operate agentic AI systems and modernize a multi‑tenant automotive SaaS platform. You will own production monitoring, SRE, and safe-release practices while driving cross‑team adoption of agentic development harnesses.

We seek 6+ years of software engineering, strong AWS serverless experience, and a track record of setting and enforcing engineering standards. Hybrid work options and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, incl. 2+ years at Senior/Staff level.
• Hands‑on agentic/LLM development with AWS Bedrock, MCP, LangChain.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS serverless and traditional service architectures.
• Security‑minded engineering — dependency and vulnerability management.
• SRE practices — observability, SLOs/error budgets, on‑call, and incident response.
• CI/CD and release management — quality/security gates, rollback, and progressive delivery.
• Comfortable in at least two of Python, Java (Spring Boot), and TypeScript/React — and able to read PHP.

Responsibilities

• Own production monitoring and SRE practices to keep us reliable.
• Champion safe releases — define checks and gates and enforce standards.
• Modernize platforms by retiring legacy patterns and adopting current frameworks.
• Lead cross‑org collaboration to raise the technical and security bar.
• Drive agentic AI development and integration across production workflows.
