Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. seeks an experienced engineer to lead AHU design initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, and guide data-driven product development.

You will act as a project leader, collaborating with teams across engineering and operations, while traveling ~10% internationally. A bachelor's in engineering and 8+ years in AHU design are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in AHU design or related field.
• Strong time-management skills with the desire to learn and expand knowledge.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%; some international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as engineer, PM, data analyst, and facilitator, owning results and schedules.
• Provide technical leadership on implementation, manufacturability, compliance, and costing.

What You Will Do

• Take the lead on multiple AHU related projects that include product development, technology R&D, product data analysis, engineering data management, product seismic compliance efforts, and laboratory testing of product performance.
• Act as an engineer, project manager, data analyst, researcher and facilitator, taking responsibility for project results, schedule, and objectives of the AHU business.
• Provide technical leadership and guide the team on product implementation, manufacturability, compliance requirements, and costing.
• Collaborate with other teams and individuals to share knowledge and resources.
• Execute multiple projects, set priorities, identify challenges, and give guidance.
• Communicate project status and estimated work content consistently and predictably.
• Demonstrate sound decision‑making and critical‑thinking skills.
• Adhere to the Company’s Business Ethics Standards.

Compensation

Salary Range: $100,000 - $167,000. Salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data. A competitive bonus plan is also available.
