Job summary

R. Joe Harris & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our civil engineering and land development team. You will design site layouts, drainage, utilities, and roadways while ensuring compliance with zoning and regulatory requirements.

You will provide technical guidance through the project lifecycle, collaborate with architects, planners, environmental consultants, and other specialists, and promote sustainable design practices, including green infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in land development and civil site design.
• Working toward licensure; EIT or PE preferred (SC/NC).
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in land development and civil site design.
3. Working towards licensure and/or are an EIT or PE is preferred (SC and/or NC).
4. Strong knowledge of site design, stormwater management, and regulatory processes.
5. Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage with clients and project stakeholders.
