Job summary

R. Joe Harris & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer in Fort Mill, SC to design site layouts, drainage, utilities, and roads. You will interpret zoning rules and guide projects from concept through construction.

The role requires 2+ years in land development, Civil 3D/AutoCAD proficiency, and strong communication and teamwork for client engagement. This position offers a competitive compensation package and full benefits, with on-site work in the Fort Mill area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in land development and civil site design.
• Licensure path: working toward licensure; EIT or PE preferred (SC/NC).
• Strong knowledge of site design, stormwater management, and regulatory processes.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related engineering software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for client engagement.
