Archer is an aerospace company in San Jose, CA, building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. The role leads the architecture, embedded software, and verification for the Charge Control Unit (CCU) and interfaces with high-voltage systems, under DO-178C guidelines.
You will act as Certification Authority for requirements, guide safety-critical software development, and mentor engineers while ensuring FAA compliance and robust diagnostics.

Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
Minimum Experience Requirement: Embedded Software Engineer, Firmware Engineer or related job title in which 60 months of experience with design and development of safety-critical embedded software using C/C++; working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS); hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and debugging; and utilizing communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, or I2C was gained.
For this position we are offering $$255,653 to $268,435.65 per year.
