Qualifications

• Elixir/Phoenix/OTP production experience (4+ years, 7+ years total).
• Staff-level technical leadership demonstrated in production environments.
• Distributed systems design and operation at scale.
• Event-driven architecture with streaming platforms.
• Strong SQL with PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Cloud platforms experience (GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Observability and incident response discipline.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction and own the architecture for Elixir services.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, and roadmap conversations.
• Mentor junior engineers and elevate team capability.
• Collaborate across teams on cross-cutting initiatives and platform services.
