Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer to design wire harnesses and cable assemblies for space applications. You will work with a multidisciplinary team across multiple lines of business, contributing to packaging systems for missions to Mars or GPS satellites.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have experience using the Zuken E3 schematic/cabling drafting tool (or similar) and CREO 3D modeling tool (or similar) centered in model-based engineering.
• The candidate will collaborate with subsystem, survivability, environmental, and other engineers to develop unique cables for space products.
• Experience presenting to leadership and customers in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.

Responsibilities

• Design wire harness and cable assembly and installation drawings.
• Develop wiring designs from research, conceptual, and layout phases to support assembly, installation, and some aftermarket sustainment.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure design feasibility and reliability.
