Position: Electrical Integration and Development Engineer

You will be the technical leader responsible for electrical integration, troubleshooting, and development of prototype test assets and vehicles. Your role includes resolving complex electrical issues, bridging design and manufacturing, and ensuring vehicles meet high standards of performance and reliability. You will conceptualize, design, engineer, develop, and support the launch of next-generation vehicle platform architectures for electric vehicles.

Qualifications

You'll have...

  • B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience with complex electrical systems or electronics designs
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals applied to automotive concepts
  • Experience in vehicle launch activities from prototype to mass production
  • Debugging and diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical, and software domains
  • Expertise in low voltage systems, EV system architecture, functional safety, and component integration
  • Experience with microprocessor-based system design and development
  • Familiarity with communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet
  • Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, high-performing team
  • Systems approach to design and development, with curiosity for continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
  • Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment
  • Experience with requirements management software
  • Experience with hardware development from concept to production in automotive or similar industries
  • Knowledge of FMEA and HARA processes
  • Experience with networked microcontrollers and embedded software in electrical/electromechanical devices
