You will solve challenging engineering problems, guide the development of advanced PCBAs, integrate processors, sensors, and high ‑ speed interfaces, and collaborate closely with other senior engineers to co ‑ develop robust, high ‑ reliability electrical architectures. You will mentor junior engineers, lead design execution on major programs, and ensure the delivery of high ‑ quality, mission ‑ critical hardware.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead the design and development of complex electrical and board ‑ level hardware, including schematic capture, component selection, and interface definition
  • Contribute to electrical architecture decisions across digital, analog, mixed ‑ signal, and power domains
  • Integrate processors, sensors, high ‑ speed digital interfaces, and support electronics at the subsystem level
  • Support and help define FPGA electrical integration strategies (no RTL required)
  • Direct PCB layout activities to ensure signal integrity, EMC/EMI robustness, manufacturability, and compliance
  • Lead board bring ‑ up, electrical debug, validation, and root ‑ cause analysis in lab environments
  • Develop and implement test plans, validation strategies, and debug methodologies for program hardware
  • Drive resolution of electrical issues across prototype and low ‑ rate production builds
  • Lead electrical design for SWaP ‑ constrained systems, including power distribution, power integrity, efficiency, and thermal considerations
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, systems, and embedded software teams to ensure effective system ‑ level integration
  • Participate in architecture reviews, technical trade studies, and design reviews
  • Support DFM/DFT approaches and help transition designs from prototype to manufacturing
  • Perform and interpret electrical analysis, modeling, and simulation to reduce technical risk
