Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or related field with 7+ years experience, or an Associate degree with 8+ years experience, or High School with 9+ years progressive detailing and design experience.
• Advanced understanding of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Excel for development of design deliverables.
• Advanced ability to use both 2D and 3D applications to prepare engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design deliverables, including schematics, grid plan layouts, power systems, lighting systems, protection and controls, and site and facility design.
• Prepare drawings for production work, including design layouts, calculations, redlines, mark-ups, and revisions for ongoing projects.
• Review reports, drawings, tests, and design documents to support project planning, quality assurance, and compliance with codes and specifications.
• Coordinate clearly with project managers, engineers, and designers to resolve drawing or design issues and support project objectives.
