Job summary

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, seeks a Staff Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer for our Warrenton, VA office in a hybrid role. You will craft high‑performance DSP software, leveraging C/C++, Python, and GNU Radio while aligning with hardware and systems teams.

You will design real‑time and offline signal processing pipelines, validate algorithms, and drive CI/CD practices. A strong background in wireless communications and an active SECRET clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years' professional DSP engineering experience.
• Strong experience with C/C++, GNU Radio, X-MIDAS, CUDA, and Python in Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized technologies.
• DSP background with understanding of communications systems and theory.
• Experience in wireless communication theory and modeling, including link budget and sensitivity analysis.
• Active SECRET Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient DSP algorithms and code using C, C++, Python, X-MIDAS, CUDA, and GNU Radio.
• Develop and optimize real-time and offline DSP pipelines.
• Test and validate DSP algorithms and software components for robustness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams to integrate DSP solutions.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for DSP software.
