Terawatt Infrastructure is hiring a Staff DevOps Engineer to lead the evolution of our cloud-based fleet EV charging platform in North America. You will own the platform engineering, drive reliability, security, and scalability while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Join a team building a highly available depot operations platform, powered by Kubernetes, Terraform, and data-driven tooling. You will scale the infrastructure and develop AI/agent workflows across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating high-availability production systems including DevOps/SRE.
• Deep experience with AWS, managed Kubernetes (EKS), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and observability with OpenTelemetry and Grafana.
• Experience leading SRE or DevOps initiatives supporting production cloud platforms.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for DevOps and platform engineering, mentor engineers, and enforce infrastructure standards.
• Lead planning for team goals aligned with business goals and tech roadmap.
• Architect evolution of cloud infrastructure using Terraform for resilience and scalability.
• Maintain deployment patterns and Helm charts to support service lifecycle.
• Build tooling for CI/CD pipelines and secure automated deployments.
• Drive security across the stack and automate SOC 2 controls.
• Extend security to AI/agent systems and protect data exposure.
• Advance observability with OpenTelemetry and Grafana across services.
• Build local and remote container tooling and testing environments.
• Operate ML/AI infrastructure including compute for training and MCP servers.
• Collaborate on data infrastructure with Databricks and Kafka streams.
• Contribute to a highly available web-based depot operations platform.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call and lead postmortems.
