Job summary

Automation Anywhere is hiring a DevOps Staff Engineer to lead and grow the DevOps function. Hybrid role with onsite days in San Jose, CA, reporting to the Sr. Director of Engineering. You will drive release quality, build and CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure reliability while mentoring the DevOps team.

Bring 7+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure, and Docker experience. Expect competitive salary and full benefits in a dynamic AI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
• Scripting (bash, groovy, Python).
• Strong experience with Terraform IaC and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, and Kubernetes deployments.
• Proficiency in Docker and containerization.
• Experience with relational databases and database CI/CD tasks.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Sumo Logic, ELK).
• Understanding of deployment pipelines, automation, and security best practices.
• Solid problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Artifact repos knowledge (Nexus, JFrog).
• Certifications in cloud/Kubernetes are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DevOps team, set goals, and foster continuous improvement.
• Oversee build/release, CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and reliability.
• Drive tooling decisions and automation strategies across org.
• Collaborate with Eng, QA, and Product to align priorities and deployments.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual work and speed delivery.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security in all DevOps solutions.
• Monitor, alert, and improve infrastructure reliability.
