Job summary

Lendistry is seeking a Staff Engineer DevOps to join the Platform Engineering & Operations team as a hands-on contributor. You will build and maintain the infrastructure under Lendistry’s lending platform, focusing on cloud architecture, security posture, and developer experience across a regulated financial services environment.

You will mentor engineers, drive infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and AI-assisted tooling, ensuring reliability and compliance while supporting AI/ML workloads for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years engineering enterprise-grade software and platform applications.
• 2+ years platform engineering across cloud models.
• 2+ years hands-on Kubernetes, container orchestration, Docker, and cloud-native apps.
• Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Proficient in at least two programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or C#).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and patterns (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible).
• Familiar with policy-as-code and software supply chain security in CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate as a hands-on IC on Platform Engineering & Operations and mentor junior engineers.
• Support cloud architecture and account management across dev, staging, and prod.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and GitOps across environments.
• Manage container orchestration across multiple deployable services and cloud accounts.
• Support identity management, security posture, secrets management, and audits.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines across repositories and tooling.
• Participate in on-call and incident response with postmortems for reliability.
• Explore and integrate AI-assisted tooling into CI/CD and infrastructure workflows.
