Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS/EE/CE or closely related field.
• 3+ years in DevOps/Cloud/Systems engineering with AWS.
• Experience with Terraform IaC and container orchestration.
• Proficient in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Git).
• Monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

About The Role

Cognichip is looking for a motivated Staff DevOps Engineer to join their team. You will architect and implement comprehensive DevOps and MLOps frameworks to support an enterprise‑grade semiconductor design automation platform. Your work will directly impact our core infrastructure by designing, provisioning, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and modern container orchestration technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement comprehensive DevOps and MLOps frameworks to support an enterprise‑grade semiconductor design automation platform.
• Design, provision, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and modern container orchestration technologies.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enhance development efficiency and deployment velocity.
• Establish and maintain advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high system availability and performance.
• Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance measures across the cloud infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience: 36 months of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related.
• Designing and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Containerization and orchestration utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
• Building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Setting up monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack).
• Supporting ML/AI infrastructure or MLOps deployment pipelines.
