Job summary

County of Siskiyou seeks an Extra Help Staff Services Analyst to perform complex administrative analysis across departments. You will independently develop methodologies, supervise staff where applicable, and assess regulatory impacts on programs.

You will support staff development, training program design, and contract oversight, working under general supervision in an office environment with regular public interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing legislation and regulations.
• Ability to develop and deliver staff training programs.
• Ability to interpret policies for multiple departments and audiences.
• Strong data collection and reporting skills.
• Experience supervising or coordinating staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and review department operations, policies, and procedures.
• Provide project guidance and oversight for assigned personnel.
• Analyze the impact of legislation, rules, and regulations on department functions.
• Conduct individual and group conferences to discuss rules, regulations, and policies.
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of staff development and training programs.
• Review and monitor department contracts and prepare reports.
• Represent the department at meetings and advise management.
