Job summary

Alliance Health at Baldwinville is seeking a dedicated Staff Development Coordinator to lead orientation, training, and competency programs. This role collaborates with all departments to foster learning, compliance, and excellence in resident care, ensuring staff maintain knowledge to meet regulatory requirements.

The position oversees employee onboarding, ongoing education, and record-keeping, while supporting CNA training and career development.

Qualifications

• Current RN license preferred; healthcare training experience required.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic learning systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation programs.
• Develop, schedule, and facilitate ongoing staff education and in-service training.
• Maintain employee training records and competency documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, OSHA, infection control, and facility training requirements.
• Coordinate annual mandatory education and competency assessments.
• Assist with CNA training, mentoring, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and opportunities for professional development.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update training materials as needed.
• Support survey readiness and corrective action plans related to staff education.
• Assist with employee engagement, retention, and career development initiatives.
