Job Description: Staff Educator

The Staff Educator performs ongoing orientation, training, and education for all members of the Care Management team. This role assumes responsibility for ensuring that staff have knowledge of regulations, protocols, and workflows. The educator is responsible for establishing educational modules and training kits as needed, as well as performing random audits to ensure compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing required
• Master's degree in nursing, education, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years of care management experience required; managed care experience preferred. UAS NY knowledge required.
• Requires a valid Registered Nurse license
• Excellent analytical skills and data interpretation abilities
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
• Ability to set priorities and handle multiple assignments
• Working knowledge of audit techniques and methodologies
• Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
• Willingness to travel for business partner training
